Our Fee Structure

We endeavour to keep our consultation fee below that which is recommended by the Australian Psychological Society ($311 per hour). 

Our fee structure is as follows:

If you have been referred by a GP or Psychiatrist with a Mental Health Care Plan you may be eligible to receive a Medicare rebate of $96.65 for up to 10 sessions per calendar year.

Depending on the type and level of your private health insurance, you may be able to claim a rebate for sessions. Please note this cannot be claimed at the same time as a medicare rebate.

All sessions are 50 minutes in duration and run to schedule.

Full consultation fees are payable on the day of your appointment.
Payment can be made by direct deposit or card (VISA, MasterCard, AMEX, EFTPOS, Google Pay or Apple Pay).

You may be asked to provide your credit card details at the time of booking to secure your appointment.


Please note **North Light PSYCHOLOGY provides treatment and therapy only. We DO NOT prepare reports for insurance purposes (e.g. Workcover/NDIS etc), legal proceedings (e.g. family or criminal law etc) or lawyers, nor act as an expert witness or advocate.

Renée provides treatment & therapy only. She does not provide services for Workcover, insurance companies or for legal proceedings, including report preparation or representation.

Please discuss an alternative referral with your referrer/doctor if this is required.



Cancellation Policy

When an appointment is booked, this time is reserved especially for the client.  
The following cancellation policy is in place so we can offer this time to another person who may be on a cancellation or wait list. 

Cancellations 0-24hrs will incur the full consultation fee

Cancellations 24-48hrs will incur 50% of the consultation fee

The full consultation fee will be invoiced for an appointment where the person misses the appointment and does not attend. If you are late for an appointment, your session may be less than 50 minutes in duration. Please be advised our cancellation policy will be strictly applied for missed/late/cancelled appointments.

Cancellations will be invoiced using credit card details provided at the time of booking.  New bookings can be made when previous cancellations/missed appointments are settled.
